SUNDAY IGBOHO: Support Me, I Will Flush Out Banditry, Insecurity

The Southwest traditional rulers has been urged by a Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Igboho, to vehemently support him in flushing out kidnappers, banditry and forms of criminalities from the region.

Adeyemo Igboho explained that he planned to collaborate with traditional rulers to put a permanent end to insecurity in the Southwest region of Nigeria.

According to the source, Igboho lamented that insecurity is responsible for farm-road rapists, food shortage, farmer’s death, abduction and farmer-herder crisis in the region.

In his response to Yoruba monarch’s and other stakeholder’s position, Igboho said “I welcome the idea, and assure them that I will do my best to checkmate incidence of insecurity provided I receive the backing of the relevant security agencies, Yoruba monarchs and other stakeholders.

Igboho assured that he would collaborate with traditional rulers to bring an end to the issue of insecurity in the Southwest..

“Insecurity and threats precipitated by banditry, herders/farmers clashes, leading to deaths and massive destruction of farmlands have driven away farmers and agric entrepreneurs from farm settlements in Yorubaland”, Igboho said.

He reiterated further “We need to flush out criminal elements, who have occupied our forests using the place as launch pads to jeopardize the peace in our communities, towns, villages and amulets. I am ready to lend my support in this regard”.
