An angry Nigerian soldier has reiterated that it is a fiduciary duty for the military personnel to retaliate for the loss of their fellow soldiers who were killed unjustly in Delta State.
Of recent, there were sad news regarding of a Commanding Officer, two Majors, one Captain, and 12 soldiers from the 181 Amphibious Battalion who were killed by criminals in the state.
In a viral video, a soldier who identified himself as from the region, criticized individuals who were condemning the army for the alleged retaliatory actions taken by military personnel in Niger Delta communities.
He lamented that such sorrowful occurrence were rare in the northern part of the nation and asserted that anyone unwilling to support his uniform, regardless of their relationship, would be considered his first enemy.
According to him: “This message is for my Niger Delta brothers. When I read the comments about our soldiers wey dey die for Delta, nah cry I cry because me nah Delta boy, I know wetin I don face for the country. I know what I’ve faced to protect this country. I have fought in Maiduguri and I know many soldiers from Maiduguri died to protect their land)”.
“I know how many Katsina people wey die for their state. But una get mind kill soldiers in Delta State and you just dey comment rubbish comments. We won’t forgive anyone who killed soldiers on the frontline, we must avenge their deaths.”
