The KINGDOM NEWS reports that some suspected gunmen have again kidnapped two travellers in Osun State.
According to the report, the travellers were travelling along Wasimi area of Ife Ibadan expressway in Osun state on Saturday evening to Ilesa from Ibadan and were heading toward Ikire before the incident occurred.
While speaking on the urgly incident, the Osun State Police Public Relations Officer, Opalola Yemisi confirmed that the security agencies engaged with the gunmen in firefight and three suspects have been arrested, adding that the bus driver and one passenger were reportedly missing during the attack.
Opalola further revealed that items carted away by the gunmen include money and handsets.
It could be recalled that some gunmen had recently kidnapped passengers along Ibokun/Osogbo road last week Tuesday before the Police and other security agencies secured seven passengers after days in captive.
