Many residents of Kebbi have reportedly broken into private and government-owned warehouses in Brinin-Kebbi, the state capital, and looting hundreds of items stored in the facilities.
According to the report, the ugly incident occurred on Saturday evening, 30th, 2024.
Reason for this reported looting cannot be divorced from circumstances surrounding widespread hunger and hardship in the country occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy and fall of the naira.
