Suspected Gunmen have once again attacked a police Station, today Friday around Ebiya bridge along hilltop area in the Abakaliki metropolis.
According to the source, nothing less than six police men were brutally killed in the face2face violent attack. Life of additional two girls, suspected to be civilians, were also said to have equally been terminated during the attack.
Investigations revealed that attacking police operatives in the Ebiya bridge police station is not strange as a similar incident happened in November 17th, 2023, where two police officers on patrol were murdered by suspected Gunmen.
The Ebonyi State Police station is yet to confirm this eyeshored incident as a call placed to the Police Public Relation Officer, DSP, Joshua Ukandu remained unanswered.
