…Gov AbdulRazaq confirms lawmaker as “Mr. Empowerment”

Barely a week after emerging Nigerian best lawmaker in constituency outreach, Honourable member representing Share/Oke-Ode Constituency in the 9th Kwara State House of Assembly, Owolabi Olatunde Rasaq on Sunday 4th of December, 2022 empowered constituents once again.
At the grand empowerment event, Owolabi also inaugurated his campaign team tagged, Owooo Campaign Council for his reelection come 2023 in his country home, Babanloma in Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state where Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq paid a surprise visit to grace the occasion.
Apart from many unannounced gestures to the widows, youths, aged and others, the event makes it the 5th mega empowerment by the lawmaker in less than 4 years in office.
Items distributed are 7 motorcycles to 7 different youths and a huge amount of cash shared amongst not less than 60 widows to boost their standard of living.
After handing over the keys of the motorbikes and envelopes to the beneficiaries on behalf of the lawmaker amidst a large crowd, the governor affirmed that no one has done what Owolabi has done in the history of the Constituency, confirming him as indeed “Mr. Empowerment”.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq tasked the constituents to support him totally calling on the aggrieved to work together with him for the success of the party at all categories.
“What Owolabi does surprises me as a person. What we want is the way forward, the state will also launch her campaign team soon and as Owolabi has launched his, the next is for the work to begin” he said.
The governor cautioned the people to stop saying the party has emerged without voting, charging everyone to canvass for the success of the party.
While responding, Hon. Owolabi thanked the governor for the love and care for him and his constituents, assuring the governor that the people of Ifelodun are for APC in totality.
The lawmaker said the reason behind the empowerment is to fulfill the promises made to some people, adding that his mind was never at rest until now that he has redeemed the pledges.
In his opening’s speech, the Owooo Campaign DG, Alhaji Tajudeen Adedotun, described Hon. Owolabi as the best lawmaker in the history of Share/Oke-Ode Constituency, adding that the feat is not unconnected to the proactiveness of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in running the affairs of the state.
Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the local government led by Elder Nickolas Agboola said, it is clear that Owolabi is one out of a million as he is emulating the leadership pattern of the governor.
They affirmed that what the governor has done in Kwara is unprecedented and the only option for Kwarans is to vote him the second time for continuity of good governance.
The elders charged the governor not to be bothered or distracted by the mischief makers, saying the prosecution against him will continue because he is not ready to neglect the masses and be sharing public funds amongst party men.
